Corpoven Corpoven, SA was a Venezuelan oil company, a subsidiary of Petroleos de Venezuela (PDVSA), which operated business of exploration, production, refining and marketing of petroleum and derivatives, and all gas operations in Venezuela for 19 years, from the beginning of its activities in December 1978 until leaving the 31 December 1997. Like their sisters and Lagoven Maraven, Corpoven had a wide network of service stations distributed over the Venezuelan territory, thus became a cultural icon of contemporary Venezuela. Corpoven was also tied-for its existence social and cultural development of Venezuela, through activities of various kinds, as a provider of health services and improve infrastructure in communities affected by their activities and support for sports and cultural activities.In the latter area, particular mention is the publication of Venezuela Magic Earth, a series of volumes printed first and then also audiovisual character, which was intended to disseminate knowledge in different areas of knowledge related to the history and the geopolitical Venezuela.
